Abstract

In order to exist in the minds of the consumers, a modern library has to use new methods and means of communication. In these days there are many forms of promotion, diversified in terms of their functions. One of them is a library game - a popular form of entertainment designed for young people, which is more and more commonly used by libraries to promote and present their own services. The game has many functions like teaching, integrating, activating, and can also combine elements of education, playing, and competition. This article presents the possibility of using games in the activities of the library as an effective tool of marketing communication.
