The aim of the conference is to draw attention to the problems of the development of information in different forms and its use in the library and information activities. Therefore, we want to raise the questions:

• how we design information for others?
• whether and how we support the users in satisfying their curiosity about the world?
• what is the impact on information activities by the direct recipients?
• how we match our goals to the needs of users?

The issue of the conference will cover a wide range of topics related to information design and information architecture in the activities of libraries and librarians, information centers, data visualization, design of new communication tools in accordance with the users requirements. We invite you to submit papers in the following areas:

• information architecture
• usability and functionality tests
• facilitating the user's access to information
• the mobile library access
• trends in information design
• visual identification in the library
• study of the user's expectations
• data visualization, infographics
• examples of a good practice in communication with the user

We invite librarians, designers and academics to exchange views on these topics. We believe that thanks to Your presence our conference will be a source of inspiration for the participants and will be enriched with some interesting ideas related to the information design.
