The aim of the conference is to outline the directions of the librarian 2.0 profession in the context of needs of users and the offer of librarians education centers.

The issue of the conference will include a wide range of topics related to the activities of libraries and librarians, education for libraries, the evolution of the profession associated with the development of communication tools and increasing user requirements. We invite you to submit papers in the following areas:

• Web 2.0 in library,
• librarian in Web 2.0,
• librarian's role in the development of university research,
• the role of librarian in the local community,
• mobile library access,
• trends in academic education,
• innovations in library,
• expectations of "Google generation" to libraries and librarians,
• model of a modern librarian (competence, knowledge and skills),
• what will a librarian be for 20 years?
• the concepts of profession development in Poland and abroad.

We invite librarians and academics to exchange views on these topics. We believe that thanks to your participation our conference will be enriched by important voices and interesting ideas about a future of our profession.
